Archaeobotany
The archaeobotanical study involved sampling, flotation of samples, and analysis of carpological content, particularly at the Spina site. Many traces of vines (fragments of berries, pips, and pedicels) were found in Spina.
In the laboratory, sample residues were examined under a stereomicroscope to recover plant material and conduct further analysis of grape seeds.

The grape seeds were documented through microscopy and their dimensions were accurately measured utilizing specialized software.
